Creamsicle, Poured

Bright citrus, softened just enough to settle.

This glass brings fresh orange into a quieter, more balanced glass—light cream, a clean finish, and nothing unnecessary. A familiar note, pulled back and reworked with restraint.

Picked up without a plan, the kind of ingredient that carries its own direction once you get it home, then refined into something a little more composed.

Observed in the world, refined for the table.

Ingredients

2 ounces vodka
1 ounce fresh orange juice
½ ounce orange liqueur
½ ounce simple syrup
¾ ounce heavy cream
A small pinch of salt

Prep
Chill the glass.
Prepare a wide strip of orange peel for finishing.

Method
Add the vodka, orange juice, orange liqueur, simple syrup, and a pinch of salt to a shaker with ice. Shake until fully chilled and lightly aerated.
Add the cream and shake briefly, just to integrate.
Strain into a chilled coupe or over a single large cube.

Finish
Express the orange peel over the surface and set it lightly along the rim.
Serve immediately, while the texture remains soft and the citrus stays lifted
