The Road to 30A
Every Southern family made the same summer pilgrimage. Load up the car in Memphis, drive south through flat land and miles of pine trees, and keep going until the Gulf turns that impossible shade of green. Back then we just called it Destin. Now it’s 30A, with better coffee and the same water.
